About

Raoul Edmund is a writer of novels and short stories dealing with mystery, sci fi, and horror. His books often blend all three genres, providing a unique reading experience.

In his own words, Raoul Edmund “grew up on a steady diet of science fiction, horror, and New Jersey pizza.” It was these early influences that provided the basis for the novels and short stories he writes now. (Except for the pizza; he doesn’t write stories about  pizza!)

His life has always been characterized by change. He’s lived in five different states. He’s owned more than twenty different cars. And he’s changed careers half-a-dozen times. He has learned not only to expect change, but to embrace it as well. As he puts it, “The worst thing you can do is to let your life become static, because that’s the precursor to becoming stagnant—and that’s a state to be avoided at all costs.”

After earning a degree in Psychology, he spent years as an advertising copywriter, and created ad campaigns that made his clients millions of dollars. It wasn’t until later in life that he made the decision to try his hand at writing fiction. As he describes it, “Stories make the world go ‘round. Whether it’s books, movies, television, or real life—it all starts with a story.”

He currently lives in Cave Creek, Arizona with his soulmate, Shirley and their two cats. He welcomes contact from any and all. Use the contact form on this website or send him a personal email at raouledmund5@gmail.com.

His closing comment to all his readers and followers: “All our lives are stories, and I’m thankful that you’re part of this chapter in my mine. If my writing entertains you, stimulates you, and maybe even produces in you the catharsis that competent writing should, then I will be fulfilled, and will be able to call this latest career successful.”
